We @The Good Samaritan Aid Society (GSAS) just hosted a truly special event, Doing Good!, on February 28th, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how it went.
Our event brought together many of our incredible sponsors who make our mission possible, including Good360, Foodbank NSW/ACT, Fairfield City Council, NSW Government, Sydney Markets, and The Cheesecake Shop. Their unwavering support and generosity have helped us make a positive and impactful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Our volunteers were also present, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their hard work and dedication. Their tireless efforts are what make our mission a reality, and we are continually inspired by their selflessness and compassion.
The event was made even more special by the presence of our Chairman of GSAS, His Grace Bishop Mari Emmanuel, and our local Member of Parliament, Guy Zangari. Their speeches reminded us all of the importance of coming together to support our community, and their presence was a true honour.
Throughout the event, we presented awards and recognition to our sponsors and volunteers, and it was a true joy to see the positive impact they have had on our community. The support we have received from our sponsors has allowed us to distribute essential items to those in need, and the gratitude we see in the eyes of those we help is a testament to the power of kindness and generosity.
